General Description


Camden Head outfall is the discharge point for the Camden Haven STP.

Sewerage Catchment:

  • Camden Haven STP uses a secondary treatment process together with trickling filters and disinfection by chlorination (MHL769 1997).

Outfall:

  • The ocean outfall is located on the southern side of Camden Head approximately 1km south of the Camden Haven River entrance. A 600mm diameter pipe discharges at the shoreline through placed boulders (see photo).
